Gorgor Special Forces Graduate from TurkSom Academy in Mogadishu

Mogadishu – A fresh group of soldiers serving under the Gorgor special force have completed an intensive military training at Mogadishu’s TurkSom Academy on Sunday. 

The Gorgor soldiers, known for its elite units, underwent rigorous training, including counter-terrorism tactics, marksmanship, urban warfare, and intelligence gathering. 

Their graduation ceremony, attended by military officials and family members, highlighted their dedication and readiness to tackle evolving security challenges.

The state Minister for Defense Abdinoor Dahir commended the graduates’ commitment to safeguarding Somalia’s peace and security.

This development strengthens Somalia’s security capabilities in countering threats and maintaining stability in the region.
