Kenya’s Diplomatic Missions Vital for Strategic Diplomacy, Says Prime Cabinet Secretary

Nairobi – Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs said Kenya’s Diplomatic Missions project the country’s strategic diplomacy on the global stage. 

Mr. Mudavadi acknowledged the immense significance of the envoys and committed to maximize the benefits derived from the nation’s foreign missions.

He was speaking during a meeting convened at the Deputy President’s residence, attended by the Prime Cabinet Secretary, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, and other cabinet members on Tuesday. The gathering provided a valuable platform to engage with new envoys, offering insights and reflections on enhancing Kenya’s image abroad.

The diplomatic community serves as a vital bridge, fostering international relations and partnerships that contribute to Kenya’s development, economic growth, and global influence. 

The government is placing emphasis on effective representation abroad to strengthen Kenya’s position in the global arena.

“The Diplomatic Missions of Kenya play a crucial role in projecting our country’ strategic diplomacy to the world,” said Mudavadi. 

The Prime CS and leader of ANC party said Kenya Kwanza administration recognizes the “significance of our envoys and aims to maximize the benefits derived from our foreign missions.”
