Kulmiye High School Excels in 2023 KCSE Results with Impressive Mean Grade

Habaswein – Kulmiye High School has demonstrated academic excellence in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2023 results announced on Monday. The school’s performance, as highlighted in the detailed analysis seen by GT, reflects an impressive outcome that positions Kulmiye High School among the top performers in the region. 

The breakdown of results of the School in Habaswein reveals a commendable distribution of grades, with the majority of students securing grades in the B range. A total of 44 students undertook KCSE Exams last year.  33 students secured B and B+ grade. The exemplary results are further underscored by the fact that none of the students received a grade lower than C. 

The school’s Principal, Abdirizak Kasai expressed satisfaction with the students’ performance, as indicated in the official document prepared and confirmed by him by the time of going to press. The mean points for the school were calculated at 8.63, translating to an overall mean grade of B.

Mr. Kasai boosted with confidence, 42 students have qualified for university entry, showcasing the academic prowess of Kulmiye High School. The breakdown of university entry grades indicates that the majority of qualifying students earned grades in the B and C range.

Across the country total of 201,133 candidates who sat the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exams scored a mean grade of C plus and above, securing direct tickets to universities.

Mr. Abdirizak Kasai said the results solidifies their achievements goals and is indeed a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the students and the teaching staff.

“Our academic milestone stands as a beacon of success, inspiring other institutions and affirming the commitment to nurturing excellence in education,” said Mr. Kasai. 

He said the results are a reflection of both individual achievements and the collective dedication to fostering a conducive learning environment.

Parents, teachers, and students alike commended the management of the school for the outstanding performance that has set a standard for academic excellence and reinforcing the school’s reputation as leading institution in Habaswein. 

Farah Amiin, a guardian of one of a student at Kulmiye School said the institution has consistently maintained a focus on academic excellence, and this year’s results stand as a testament to the hard work and dedication of both students and educators. 

“The successful KCSE results indicates the school’s commitment to providing a conducive learning environment that nurtures the academic potential of each student.”

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu while releasing the results on Monday in Eldoret said at least 899,453 candidates sat the 2023 KCSE examinations.
