President William Ruto Honors Top Officials With Prestigious Awards

Treasury and Gender Cabinet Secretaries Among Recipients of Order of Golden Heart; National Honors Committee Recognizes Outstanding Contributions

President William Ruto has conferred the prestigious Order of the Golden Heart award upon Treasury Cabinet Secretary Njuguna Ndung’u and Gender, Culture, Arts, and Heritage counterpart Aisha Jumwa in recognition of their outstanding service, as announced in a gazette notice.

Labour CS Florence Bore and Alice Wahome of Lands were also acknowledged for their significant contributions to their respective fields.

Teresia Mabika Malokwe received the Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear (First Class) honor, while Karani John Ndiwa was awarded the Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (Third Class).

These awards were granted based on recommendations from the National Honours and Awards Committee.

The Order of the Golden Heart of the Republic of Kenya, the nation’s highest honor, consists of three classes: Chief of the Order of the Golden Heart (C.G.H.), Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart (E.G.H.), and Moran of the Order of the Golden Heart (M.G.H.).

The Chief of the Order is bestowed upon holders of the office of the President of Kenya.
