Wajir South MP, Mohamed Adow Set to Unveil Ambitious Array of Projects in a Bid to Transform Constituency

Habasweyne –  Wajir South constituency Member of Parliament Mohamed Adow is set to unveil a series of transformative projects across various sectors this Friday. The projects, encompassing education, security, and infrastructure, promise to elevate the living standards and opportunities for the people of the region.

One of the initiatives set for the launch is the newly constructed Habaswein Police Station which is expected to enhance security in the area, providing a safe environment for residents while ensuring the well-being of secuirity forces.


Additionally, the Ndege Girls Centre of Excellence and the Matawarsesa School will be launched andis expected to become an empowerment platform providing quality education and opportunity for students.

Mr. Adow is also set to inaugurate Abakore Police Station in a bid to enhance a secure environment for the people of the region. The Abakore Police Station, coupled with the Habaswein Police Station, demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining law and order.

Adow is scheduled to launch Mei Primary Classrooms, Shidley Primary School, Dabley Primary School and Ildalata Primary School. These initiatives are set to provide students with the necessary facilities for a conducive learning environment, empowering the next generation with knowledge.

The Wajir South Technical and Training College, along with Biyamadhow have been developed in a bid to equip the youth with practical skills and education, thereby increasing employability and self-reliance.

Moreover, the residence of Sabuli District Commissioner has been concluded. Adow has underscored commitment to improve administrative infrastructure within the constituency to facilitate smoother governance.

The Sarif Secondary Laboratory Groundbreaking and Dadajabulla Girl’s Groundbreaking gives room for improved learning at the facilities, ensuring that students receive a holistic education experience.

Infrastructure projects set to be unveiled include the Dif Secondary Fence, the Leheley Police Station and the Ibrahim Ure Police Station, which will further enhance security and safety. 

The Noleya Primary Water Tank which aims to ensure a sustainable supply of clean water, a basic necessity for the community will also be commissioned.

Additionally, the Leheley Girls Secondary School has been equipped with a new modern library to bridge the gender gap in education by providing a modern facility for female students.

In the southern regions, advancements have been done to transform educational opportunities in the areas of Booji Yare South and Elgal Secondary School in Lagbogol South. Alidumal Primary School and Macheza Secondary School will be facelifted to improving educational access throughout the constituency.

Adow embarked on ambitious agenda following his election last year, committing himself to spearhead efforts to transform Wajir South. 

Suleiman Abokor, a resident of Bula Ndege said the diverse projects spanning across education, security, and infrastructure will in the long run elevate the lives of the residents and create a brighter future for the constituency.
