Bomet Senator’s Father Passes On

Bomet – Bomet County Senator, Hillary Sigei’s father is dead.

The Senator’s father, Philip Kipsigei Tonui, died on Monday night.

Several leaders, led by Governor Hillary Barchok of Bomet and his Kericho counterpart, Eric Mutai, Chepalungu Member of Parliament, Victor Koech, visited the Senator’s Kapsio home in Chepalungu to condole with the family.

“We are all saddened by the passing on of Mzee Tonui and we as a County will make sure that we stand with the family and make sure that the deceased is accorded a decent sendoff he deserves,” Barchok said.

“It is my prayer that God will give the family the fortitude to bear the loss of their family patriarch.”
