The Weekend Shift by Amida Yakub – GT Digital Media

Nairobi – The Weekend Shift is a weekly news and current affairs broadcast program aired on GT Digital every Saturday and Sunday. It is one of the flagship programs of the Nairobi based Media network, GT Digital. 

The program is hosted and moderated by Amida Yakub, and features regular Somali guests. 

The program sees the GT presenter discuss and debate current affairs events, focusing primarily on social and political topics.

The Weekend Shift highlights events of the previous week, news and commentary in it’s series combined with analysis from the host, plus guest contributors.
