Eid al-Fitr, often referred to simply as Eid, marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. It’s a joyous occasion celebrated by Muslims worldwide.

The day typically begins with special prayers at mosques, followed by gatherings with family and friends. People dress in their finest attire, exchange gifts, and enjoy feasts featuring traditional foods.

Charity is also an integral part of Eid, with the giving of Zakat al-Fitr, a form of almsgiving to help those in need enjoy the festivities.

Eid is a time of gratitude, reflection, and community, bringing people together in celebration of faith and unity.
