Wajir South MP Mohamed Adow Earns High Approval Rating of 76.5% in 2023 Politrack Africa Survey

Nairobi – Wajir South MP Mohamed Adow has been ranked one of the top performing MPs with an approval rating of 76.5%.

Adow is the eighth best performing legislator in the 2023 Politrack Africa survey.

In a poll released on Friday, Westlands Mp Timothy Wanyonyi is the top in the country followed by Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Mavoko MP Patrick Makau and a tie between Embakasi MP Babu Owino and Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa with 78.6 percent, 78.5 percent and 78.3 percent respectively.

Carrying out various drilling of boreholes projects in Asal sub-location, Lagdima and Darusalam all in Habaswein Ward and in Quli Location, Lagbogol Ward, as well as far areas of Finni in Banane Ward has been attributed to his ratings.

Providing scholarship for students with a passion for teaching program made the legislator the top ranking elected leader in the vast Northern Kenya.

Eldas Mp Adan Keynan follows the former scribe in the performance index of members of parliament from Northern Kenya.

“Infrastructural development in public schools within the constituency and Free and fair alocation of bursaries to need students in Waiir South Constituency,” top reasons for his ratings said the report.

The interviewed covered all the 47 counties with a sample size of 4,801 people.

The interviews were conducted via telephone at the household level with a margin error of +/ – 1.254% at 95% confidence level.

The research was carried out on 14th to 31st of August 2023.
